Matías holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel and Tourism Management, and he is a sommelier, bartender and food chemical technician. Currently, he works as a beverage manager in Anasagasti Bar, in Palermo (Buenos Aires). Before working in that position, he was the head of bar in Pony Line Bar (Four Seasons Hotel, Buenos Aires), Frank’s, Labeille, and Pipi Cucu, and he was the bartender in Oak Bar (Park Hyatt Palacio Duhau Hotel, Buenos Aires). Moreover, he is a professor in IAG (Argentine Gastronomy Institute) and CAVE (Argentine Centre of Wines and Spirituous Beverages).
Matías was designated “Best Bartender of Argentina” by the well-known magazine Bar and Drinks, which also named Frank’s “Best Bar” when it was under his management. He gained experience working in New York and Singapore bars for more than five years.
